Turbo Question,,,62/80

Well guys, looks like I am going with a II phat shaft 62/80. Keep in mind I will run 190cc inj, ported heads, ported intake manifold, Stage I cam and supporting mods listed below. I am going to run SCT tunes by Innovative. Some say a 62/70 will spool better, but I feel the 80 will give more power up top and allow to go bigger if needed. Remember I am running a full billet tranny and 4:88s with 40's

I would have said to boost your compressor side at the same time if you up the the turbine side. Its probably gonna lag up in overdrive.

If I'd have known you were going to do that Jason, I could have sold you mine. I've got the 70 and the 80 housings. The 80 is brand new. I have a feeling that I will eventually go back to the VGT for daily driveablility.

it will be laggy everywhere, no boost when at cruising speeds in town and on the highway. its a nice turbo and pulls hard, when it lights. you might want to go with the 62/70 instead.
