Hey Guys,
I was wondering if some of you Excursion owners could help me out. I am looking to purchase an 04' Excursion Eddie Bauer Edition 6.0 PSD. The truck has 102,000 miles on it. It has a Banks Tuner, Banks 5" turbo back, and an AFE intake. The gentleman told me that the turbo was replaced 8,000 miles ago, and from what I have heard this is a common problem, I dont know. As far as I know this has really been the only issue with this truck, besides little piddly crap, like power window switches and stuff. My question is are there certain things I should be looking for and how much should I offer this guy without insulting him. I know to look for ball joints and u-joints and stuff, but I wanted to get some experience on these vehicles. Thank you for your input!
