Smile Finally joined the dark side

Kind of a crappy pic but I plastic dipped my rims and exhaust !!!! Chrome was shot on rims so I decided what the heck !! I like the look and was fairly easy to do! I assumed it would burn off exhaust in minutes but its been 2 days and still looks great !!!Finally joined the dark side-20140310_170134.jpg

I plasti dipped my rims and it looked good but the stuff rubs off when you try to clean it and it is very hard to clean dirt/ mud off of if you ever get it muddy.

I don't think you put enough coats on. A buddy of mine did the rims on his F150 with 5-6 coats. He's had them done for over a year and even pressure washes them.
