Excursion body mount replacement

I talked with Sunrise Ford today and it looks like most Excursion body mounts for earlier (2002) and several later (2005) are now discontinued.

Does anyone know if the 2004 F350 mounts will work. Ford has different color codes on the mounts that are related to how stiff the material is. I think they are dimensionally the same. If you know about mounts that will work please let me know. Thanks!

There is a member here that builds new Excursions by marrying them to new trucks. Click me to check out one of his build threads. He would know probably better than anyone else here. Try sending him a PM.

You can get some of the F250 mounts. We reuse the old ones because we can't get new ones.

OK I used some of Daystar's body mounts and solved the squeaking/clunking body mount problem. More info to come.

Which kit did you order? I'm going to have a shop pull the body to do the heads and might as well change these while I'm in there.

KF04050BK is the set I used. I am working with them to get a new upper metal sleeve for the drivers foot positions (2). They did fix this perfectly. I made my own upper sleeve with a large washer welded to a piece of tubing base on original mount dimensions.
