Transmission Cooler?

When researching trucks, almost every forum has extensive debate on which transmission cooler to add. Except here!

So is the tranny on the Excursion strong enough that it doesn't need one? Or should I consider one?

Indeed..lol
There's a reason why you don't see anyone talking about getting one..it simply isn't needed.
Let me be more specific, you don't need another one...the stock one is plenty sufficient.

On a 6.0, it isn't needed. You're 5R110 trans is great.

A 4r100 with a wimpy SD cooler is not.

I feel so much better hearing this. Now I can focus on getting the best EGR cooler and Oil Cooler/Filter.

Thanks diesel-dudes!
