Better ride quality

Ok just got wife an 07 Expedition a few months ago and now no one wants to ride in my baby !! So my question is anything I can do about this ?? Shocks ?? Airbags?? I am currently running skyjacker shocks and I know most guys run the bilsteins but does it really make that big of a difference? Buddies with 1 tons say it rides alot better than theirs does !! I rarely tow anything !! So any suggestions ??

Get in contact with Cary over at CT Performance...he has the ride solution for Excursions. I imagine he will find his way here.

Look up V/B spring mod. I bought used F-550 X code front leaf springs and F-250 rear leaf springs.

Basically you take the bottom 2 leaf springs off your old excursion rear springs and add them to the F-250 rear springs. Also use the spacers (material between each leaf spring) from the excursion leaf springs and add to your modified F-250 springs.

or talk to the guys at carli and see if they can help with the shocks, they also do valveing. One other thing that comes to mind and I not sure about your ex but some of the guys with trucks are upgrading to 08 leaf packs because of the longer arch, this helps with the ride.

Duncan

Did you buy the F550 springs from Ford? If not no telling what "code" they are. I bought mine off a wrecked F550 truck. They were grade "A" used parts. They cost me $175 shipped off ebay. The rear F250 springs I found local off Craigslist for $75.

I plan on running a 4" custom block in the rear and a 3" mini springs pack on the front. I have all the part just need to put them on! Lol As for shocks a lot of people like the Blistens.

I'll take the pic down! Hahah just kidding
