New 04 EB Ex

We'll I've been browsing unregistered for a while, then registered, and finally found a nice Ex. Picked up an 04 Eddie Bauer with 162,300. Has had head gaskets, oil cooler, EGR, and FICM replaced in the last 50,000. It's still running Ford gold but the PO was great with maintenance. He had an edge scanner on it and the ECT, EOT were great, voltage right where it needed to be. He used rotella and all Motorcraft parts/filters. Anything you all can suggest besides a scanner? In time bulletproofing will occur. Thanks all, look forward to hanging out.

Head studs and a coolant filter. If you still have a functioning EGR get rid of it ASAP. Then get a tuner and drive away happy!

Yes it's true, I am the most interesting man in the world.

Agree w/Tom, My "New to me" 04 had the gold and EGR, if I had to do it over I would have flushed the coolant and deleted the EGR on day one, its only a matter of time.
