Minimum lift for 35" tires

OK time for the suspension to get upgraded on the X. Looks like 35" tires with the smallest possible lift. It will be used off road a little so it must actually clear these tires.

Remember the x sits 2 inches lower than a f-250 or 350. So if u buy a 2" lift for a f250 it will raise your x 4"

I also had 20" rims with 35" tires

I have the 4.5" icon hanger and shackle lift with the V&B spring swap. 35x13.5 clear with no rub.

Have any of you done any off-roading with the lifts mentioned? How did the v\b lift do around corners and higher speed curves like the interstate?

That pic was without the V&B code swap. I also changed all the spring and hanger bushings to energy suspension bushings. That with the spring swap really helped that bowl of jello feeling these trucks have. I'll get a updated pic up soon. Needs a bath first!

We have been solving the Excursion handling issues since '04. PM me if I can help.
Getting the correct springs, shocks and hanger kit will transform the handling.

After looking at things I am thinking of doing V/B's withe the 3". I already have the 2013 20" rim with 34" tall tires on one X with unmodified V/B's only and they are fine.
