Auto Unlock

Hello everyone. I recently picked up a 2005 Excursion 6.0 PSD. I love it! One issue I am having is with the door locks. Is there a way to make it so that once the drivers door opens all the doors unlock. I am pretty sure my old 7.3 used to do this and my wifes Ford edge does it now. It may not be possible in the excursion but if it is I would like to do it.

Thankyou.

Ford didn't incorporate this into the trucks until 2008 models.

the only way you can do this is if you install an aftermarket alarm. some of those do the unlock feature. but there is no factory feature for a 99-07 truck or 00-05 Excursion

Welcome to the site!!

Yes. With door open, push unlock button.

Razzing ya, I would suggest just using a Ford/aftermarket key fob. Just hit the button and everything unlocks. Other than that I believe it has an auto lock feature only. (putting in drive and auto locks doors) Mine had that when I had it and a buddy reprogramed it using the keypad on the door.
I have a Compustar starter/alarm combo. One push of a button and everythings unlocked.

ATV RACING.......cause football, soccer, baseball, tennis and GOLF only require ONE BALL

my 2003 will unlock all doors. After you enter the 5 digit pin on driver door press two far right or button at same time and all unlock. Also to lock truck at anytime press two to the left at same time to lock

I have a 2005 Excursion. If I enter my code it only unlocks the drivers door. If I enter my code and hit #3 after, it unlocks all the doors. If I press the two buttons to the far right at the same time all the doors lock
