Finally got one.

After several years of searching for the right one, my wife and I found a 2004 Ex Eddie bauer 4x4 with a 6.0 and only 76K on the clock. Took it to a friend at the dealer. The motor is virgin with all dealer recorded oil changes and service. 3* delta, 48.5v on the FICM, plenty of high pressure oil pressure and only a small bed plate seep. EGR cooler is factory and no signs of failure anywhere.

Went to Cummins and bought some restore, restore + and ELC. Time to start the flush. So far I love this thing. Tow as much as my 250 and haul 8 people.

DO NOT FLUSH WITH CHEMICALS. You have a 3 delta why on earth would you screw with it now? Just dump the coolant and stick the garden hose in the degas bottle and turn it on and let it run with the radiator petc0ck open and both block drain plugs out and let it run like that for 15-20 mins (of course make sure the water is on for the hose first). Then get about 20-25 gallons of distilled water and flush it all through until it's all gone. Drain the block and radiator and then fill up with CONCENTRATE EC-1 rated ELC coolant and call it good.

hes right you would be a fool to flush it. do it exactly the way he said. I get a coolant filter watch and monitor it and change it when needed.

Well thanks for stopping by to call me names, but I think I'll stick with Mitch's advice (PgreenSvt) on this one.
