OEM brake controller in Ex

I have an 04 Ex and am wanting the factory brake controller. I see them in 05 Trucks but never in the Ex. Will a factory BC fit in the hole in the Ex dash? Or will I need to put an F250 dash in? Thanks!

From what I understand, the Exs never got the newer systems as the 05+ pickups did. So the OEM controller you want wouldn't work unless you did a lot of work.

Ok, makes sense, they knew it was nearing the end. I thought i read somewhere that someone put an 05 dash in with the controller. Thanks for the reply!

I think you could do it, but lots of $ the factory controller works off the master cyl..lots of $ to get the parts, master cylinder, wiring, lower dash etc etc, and a regular electric one would work well and be alot easier and cheaper.
Thanks,
Deo
