i think my previous post may have been misleading because of the way i worded it (i changed it now)...i'm not doing the work myself (except for paying the bill)...the guy doing it is a master tech and a friend of mine...so far everything is going fine...the motor will be going back together tonight..

got the truck back yesterday...no squeaks, creaks, or leaks ...it took a little longer than i expected as i had an unrelated issue i needed to get resolved...my EATC control head wasn't working right and it took some time for a new one to arrive...

tech actually said the body off for an X is a little easier than a truck because he doesn't have the cab/bed alignment issue to deal with...

Anyone know of a dealer that would stud my Rig under warranty? I bought mine used, and never have had an oasis ran, so can someone gimme the hookup on that too???

Alan (Rodslinger) knows someone in the Houston area (about 7 hours away) that can do it and Scott (Scuffy828) has a shop and is a dealer tech in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (about 10 hours away). You might check out the Southern Smoke Show that Scott holds every year. Might be a good time to visit and drop off the truck.
