new to me 04 Excursion

Just bought a used 04' Eddie Bauer Excursion, 4x4, 6.0, Clean IDS, 134K.

Gonna use it for towing and travelin' back-n-forth to Tn from Fl. Looks completely stock.

I'm getting an induction cleaning and all the fluids changed... new fuel filters, etc. Truck run perfect, tons of power.

Ok... I know about the ''issues" with the 6.0 so I'm gonna try and be proactive as I can.

Ok guys ... let me know would be "wise" and being proactive to do. If there's a thread that's already built... give me a head start.

That's a good lookin' truck

I'd suggest first off, start with reading the stickies in the General Discussion, 6.0 Tech section and then Performance. Most importantly get something to monitor it. That's the very first and most important thing to do. Then you'll be able to prioritize you're next moves.

Read this before anything else if you haven't already! Then read, read, read and finally keep your oil and coolant clean. Oh and save up, you'll either be spending on repairs or mods!

If you have any questions ask... you're in the right place.
