Do the Xs have marker lights in the tow mirrors?

When I got it used I noticed that the markers didn't light up. Ive goigled snd cant find anything, before I break anything I figured it would be easier to post and ask.

No one can walk out and turn their lights on to see if you have marker lights? This is what my mirrors look like!

I just found a post saying 03 have the option of markers and heat but are not functional. What kind crap is that? Before I get time to wire it up I will have ordered the 08up mirrors!

My 03 mirrors have no markers in them.

My understanding is that 00 up with paddle mirrors had markers in the mirror (facing rearward.)
04 up with tow mirrors have the front facing marker light (which is not LED BTW).

Some people have reported the marker light feed is in the harness going to the mirror, others have said no.

If you go 08 plus you will need to re-wire and add switches as those use a different plug, and have power extend and fold. I have seen great write-ups on that. However, for the price and labor, I just could not see doing it. The biggest advantage IMHO is the larger convex mirror.
