03 ex installing kenwood - whats needed to keep steering wheel functions working?

Picking up an 03 ex. Taking my kenwood double din touch screen. I want to keep the steering controls functional. What do i neef to do? I have seen a few adaptors on ebay but unsure how the hook up. I believe my headunit is a dnx9914

Not sure what cable is called but try to find a good stereo shop and they should have one butthey are like $80 !!! Kinda pricey but its worth it and kinda tricky to hook up too !! Good luck! !

Make sure your stereo is steering wheel control ready and I just fouond my box !! Its called steering wheel control interface . Its made by axxess and part # is ASWC u can go to Axxess Interface to find one !! Let me know if u have any questions! !!

links no good

both PAC and Axxess make them stick to Axxess IMHO it's reported to not have lag like the pac

Thats about $25 less than I paid !! It has about 20 or so wires on it but u will only need 1 of those wires (I believe it was grey with red stripe on my 03) but once u get it u can go online and c what wire on there harness to hook to the 1 wire in your harness in dash !! Then plug it into your deck ! Its been about 4 yrs. since I did mine so might not b exactly correct !! Let me know if u need any help but it aint hard to figure out !!
