to trade or not to trade that is my question

Ok here is what ive got

I can trade my 99 f250 reg cab 7.3 4x4 with 154k and all the mods in my sig for an 03 ex 6.0 with 163k. Ex is all stock-have it for the weekend. Put about 40 miles on it today-runs great/shifts great/no odd noises-everything seems to work but i believe he said the a/c doesnt.

I can trade even and pay tax & doc fees and take as much off my truck as i want-meaning lights/diff covers/radio/gauges/etc

What do you guys think?

Ex also has fresh oil change/filter and both fuel filters. Trans stick looks nice and clean. Very little sand in the overflow jug-coolant very clean with no film

Just a question to ponder is why does the other party want to trade? Do you know them personally or is it a business? I don't know anything about your truck, so don't take this as a dig, but making the jump from an X to a reg cab is quite a change. I would be cautious as to the other persons motives unless you know them as a friend or personally. Hard decision. Best of luck.

It is a buddy of mine- he is the used car manager at a dealer. I have been looking for an ex for a people hauler. 4 of us go drag racing and we have to take at least 2 cars.

So he told me i can take as much off my truck as i want because it wont effect my trade value.

It is a 1 owner truck from kentucky- Very nice shape- 1door has rust starting at the seam-maybe a 1/2" long. Undercarriage is clean/int is in nice shape. Clean carfax-got an oasis report- was in around 12 times with 2-3 being recall stuff. Egr was replaced 07-08 and a new turbo at some point

My truck-the driver door seam is real bad. Can only haul 2 people. bed starting to rust

Well. It doesn't sound too terribly bad. I guess just make a list of pros and cons. And go from there. I love my 7.3, I don't think I could part with it. Again, best of luck!
