Are you able to get the ect above 190? The truck isn't fully warm yet.

Before you can test the delta's the truck needs a new thermostat. Tell them to replace it so you can check the oil cooler health.

Yep take it back to the dealership and have them replace the thermostat and drive it again.

Is there any way to fix it temporarily just so he can check out the deltas?

Nope. The thermostat needs to be replaced to allow the engine to come to full operating temps and stay there. If you remove the thermostat or leave it failed open it allows the coolant to flow freely through the radiator to the rest of the cooling system.

Send a message via Yahoo to Dave
Whoa 20 minutes in 41 degree temps wont even get the engine warm enough to open a closed Tstat without a cold front on the truck.

FYI The tstats partially open at 176 degrees and are fully open at 182
