Tunes for excursion.

I have had a lot of canned tunes, bully dog, predator motorsports, sct.

My tranny has never run through the gears smoothly while tuned out. When in stock mode I can't even notice it changing through the gears.

At the shop I get my work done there's a couple ex that have the same Problem, they have canned sct tunes, and the tranny never goes through the gears smoothly.

Is this something to do with excursions only?

Strange, I have an '03 EX Limited with a 6.0 and if I change the tune (SCT) the trans always learns to shift smoothly after some initial normal driving. I have SCT, MKM, and Gearhead tunes. The only trans-related setting I've ever changed is revs/mile when I got slightly larger diameter tires. I'd imagine changing the settings that affect converter lockup behavior would be the most noticeable.

I am running Vivian's Looney tune and my transmission shifts find. Nice and crisp and firm when I give it the go, but not harsh at all. And when I'm just cruising around it's smooth.
