Back on the hunt
Well its been better than a year since I started looking for an X. I quit looking in probably January. There was just nothing around worth looking at. So now Im getting the bug again. There are a few around, but these guys think they are sitting on a pot of gold!
The first is an 05 with cloth. 49k miles for $25K!! Really? The second is an 05 EB with 88K also for $25K!! I would be more apt to buy the EB version, but dang they are proud of them. Both are 6.0 and 4x4. After looking them up on NADA, I found that the EB is $22k clean retail. Am I missing something here? Is this really what they are selling for? From looking on the .org, it sounds like they should be around $16-17k. The EB is exactly what Im looking for, color and all but Im not going to pay that much and then have to drop another $4K into it to fix future problems. So, whatcha think?

you can look in the for sale" section and see my 04 Limited. I am looking to get 16.5 for it and it has been repaired to the max. I can give you the info on the mechanic (Ford certified) who has taken care of her for me. Take a look.

I saw it earlier. It looks like a nice ride. Is that Gold? Does it have DVD?

It is the gold, and yes it has the Entertainment system. I supports the headphones, but I do not have any currently.

WTF is a token that keeps expiring? Typed this twice and get this stupid token thing.
Anyway, Im diggin this 05 EB X with 88K miles for $24900. Price is a little high but I hear these guys can make a deal. So what should I look for? I do not have a CTS yet and from the pics there are no tuners or gauges, normal size tires and looks in great condition. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

pop up a link to it and we can tell you if there are any obvious problems. If it is Ford dealer demand the service history. if not, then call a Ford dealer to get it.
That price seems pretty crazy to me honestly. I see it is low miles, but still amazes me. Hopefully it looks showroom fresh.

I bought a 05 Eddie Bauer 150k miles diesel 4x4 loaded in great condition for $13,990. The $25k seems really high and I wouldn't pay that! Most I would pay for what you described is $16-18k

I cannot pay that much for one and still do some of the bullet proofing stuff. I can probably get about that much for my truck, then spend difference on the BPing.

The only thing that I can see is a mark on the right rear near the tail light. Other than that it looks clean. Oh, and the grill emblem.
