Door speakers

Does anybody know what size speakers go in the doors, and the rear of an 05 EX? I looked at crutchfield, and they recommended everything from 6" to 6x8 to 5x7, to 5 1x4. I'm not gonna be around the truck for a while, or I'd go look. Thanks

I'd be willing to bet that they're 6x8. Every other ford seems to use those that I've owned.

I have replaced every speaker in my truck, including those mounted in the third row. They are all 6x8. There are adapters you can buy (or make) to fit a 5.25 or a 6.5, however you may run into issue with those in the rear doors if they push the speaker out much.

If I had it to do over, I would have gone with a good qaulity set of 6.5's in the front and 6x8 everywhere else.
