That is so extremly expensive. You could probably find a 03 4x4 excursion with the same miles for about half the price (around here roughly 14-16K) and then you could do all that work to it and be head.

I agree that it is a lot over priced. I bought my fully optioned '03 Excursion Limited 4x4 with 88.5K miles for $17,500 in June of this year. It needed ball joints and tires when I bought it. It was a mostly stock rig. It had billet aluminum 18's, cat back exhaust, and an old edge programmer. Just a reference for you. Good luck with your search.

Just bought mine for 16k 04 Eddy 4in pro comp lift and Mt bullet hole rims was the only mods. When I got it I knew it needed ball joints. But it has 81k on it and is extremely clean. But even if its not modded be ready to fork out 3 to 4k more to get it set up right. I hate black also. Mine is white. The paint temp on a sunny day is usually 20° less on white.

Buy it if you don't want to to any mods yourself, and if this one is what you want. An alternative to this is to by a good shape stock one cheap, and modify it the way you want. I might consider selling mine, it is exactly the same as this one, except it is completely stock, and I am the original owner, and it has 53K miles. It doesn't need anything, I just replaced tires and batteries this year. I am getting ready to retire, and I have two powerstrokes, and I am trying to decide whether to start modifying my Excursion, or sell it. Anyway, good hunting.

Hey guys, I just bought a 2005 X for ~$17k (black lmtd). I am in the process of doing everything to it right now, ARP, new HGs, all motor updates, lift, tires/rims etc... So I had to go through this same debate myself.
The thing I came down to is that of the ones that were all tricked out there are going to be some things you don't want and based on the price you feel like you are paying for things you don't want. Also like the one you posted it looks like its been a hard 130k miles and with that drop hitch he towed with it quite regularly. Also consider getting the 2005 you get some updates, i.e. brakes and the like. Also the motor has many updates from 2003 as well. Just some thoughts about what I went through.
