Added Some Big TVs Today

I just bought a 2005 excursion 6.0 a few weeks ago. Had some 11.2" tv headrest that were brand new from my old vehicle. These will be recessed in the front seats.

I had to take the head rest apart to remove the screens and bracket.

Then I had to cut a big "X" into the leather on the back of the seats. I have never done this and hoped I didn't mess up!

Next I removed some foam and placed the metal bracket in there. Folded the leather into the bracket and placed he screen in.

I still have to wire them up but had to do it while my son was sleeping and don't have time. Took about 30-45 mins to do. Came out pretty good for a first timer. Enjoy!

It doesn't look bad. Bigger pictures would be nice. I think this will be the direction I go. I think I will be upgrading the head unit in the future which makes the factory DVD system obsolete. I am thinking some large headrest units and maybe a bigger roof mount (15"ish) for the 3rd row. We will see. There is a lot of other items on the list ahead of this mod. But keep up the good work.
