05 egr delete questions

im getting an 05 x for the wife I know I want to do a egr delete kit but I need to know what tuners will keep the cel off im not hunting for power at some point im going to get some type of monitor and tunes but I cant afford to at this point the x is coming wit some type superchip tuner ill post more when we pick it up thanks for any help

I got an 05 X last weekend for the family as well. I've researched the same thing and think its similar to the super duty. I deleted my 05 F250 and added the SCT to delete the CEL and edge cts for gauges. It's really important to moniter the engine oil/coolant temps on this engine. I'm planning the same upgrades for the X as time and $$$ will allow. So, if you find out something different let us know.

you could just leave the egr valve in and plugged up but as far as tuners i think sct is the way to go with a 6.0
