Edge Insight CTS expandable or Non-expandable

Ok it's time to purchase my gauges, I'm wanting to go with Edge Insight CTS.
My question is expandable or non-expandable, and why.
In the future I have plans to purchase the SCT X3 Custom or newer model.
1st I want to see where I stand with my trucks vitals before I do anything, just need advice along the way.

Good choice!
If I understand it correctly you only have to make that decision if you're buying extra sensors now, like EGT or a pressure sensor for your fuel pressure. The expandability is in the connectors when you add these. If you're only adding EGT and never anything else non-expandable will be fine. If you're eventually going to add fuel pressure, or something else, then you need expandable.

what he said, if you plan on running anything more than just egt through the insight your gonna need expandable. If your not for sure decided on cts, i have a cs for sale in the perfomance section. the edge definitely has the most bang for your buck.

the Expandable is only a few bucks more like 30 or so i believe so why not just get it and not kick yourself in the back bumper when you want to add one or more of the many option they offer for expandable like the fuel presure or reverse cam etc.

unless you dont plan to put a fuel pressure sensor kit *additional 300 dollars) to the CTS just go with the non expandable probe... you can find more info at Edge Insight Gauges
