Suggestions on oil, filters, etc.

Need suggestions for the following:

Engine Oil:
Types, and how often do you change, (oil vs syn)

Filters:
Is it better to stick with Ford Motor products rather than ????

Fuel additives:
Every tank you add, every other.... Or only add during winter months.

Oil additives:
Never, or just stick with quality oils.

I have a 2005 (Bone Stock) 6.0 diesel, 5 spd auto, with 105,000 miles. Truck runs great with no problems and want to keep it that way as long as possible.
Thanks for any advice guys.

A 6.0 is very very picky with it's oil. A 5W-40 synthetic is going to be your best bet on 5k or so OCIs.
Again, 6.0, picky. Motorcraft is best.
Many use the Ford Cetan Booster. OptiLube is good, DieselKleen also. Usually either every tank, then use one with an anti gel during the winter.
Oil additives, non usually but many have had success with Rev-X if you have problems.
Other 6.0 gurus will show up but I've just learned all this from reading. They'll have the experience.
