Stalled Excursion

Help. My 05 Excursion refused to go despite pressing on the accelerator. I stopped, She was still running but nothing. I was able o coast to the side of the road when I released the brake peddle. I shut her down.But when I tried to start her up, she wouldn't. I was able to get AAA to bring her in to the local Ford service dept but it has been three days. What could be ailing her? I see a huge repair bill in the future.

got her back today. diagnostics checked out ok. they replaced the batteries.

Mine quit like that when I was driving. It just shut off. Coasted off road. Ended up being Cam Postion Sensor (CPS) Changed out and started right up. I thinks Excursion battery problems are realted to some common short circuit. I'm trying ot find that out right now.
