New stuff...lol

Well, I got my Ex at the end of March and have since done a few things to it...still in the process of changing all fluids out to Amsoil. Got the oil & front and rear differentials done. Still need to do transfer case and transmission. Installed my Edge CS Insight with dash pod last night(previously had it mounted on window) and also installed EGT probe last night. My tunes from Innovative came in today and just need to upload them to the Ex. Heading out to Tyler this weekend so gonna get to test out the tunes on a road trip! gettin excited! Anyways, had to tell somebody that knew what I was talking about...the wife could prolly care less. As long as it rolls and starts and carries the family, she's happy.

Oh! also got my 05 headlights w'HID's in to light up the night!

You can ask Scuffy, Dirk, or any other tech from some reason Powerstrokes don't "like" synthetic oil. I didn't believe it at first when Dirk told me and then when I blew the motor in the 6.4 and they had it torn apart and Scuffy was helping me he said the same thing. Sure enough there was all kinds of gunk and build up in the motor and thats with changing it every 4K miles on the dot!!!!!........so now I just use good Rotella for the motor oil, but Amsoil is great in everything else

well, Ive ran it in all my other strokes with only good stuff to say about it. Lower temps, better mileage, and extended drain intervals on my 7.3's. I dont know if I'll do that on my 6.0 though.
