2004 ex exhaust gas temp
Hey i am unsure of what to really look for as far as highest temp before things start gettin messed up

Things can start going bad at 1200* if held at that temp for extended periods of time. Momentary peaks over 1300*-1500* (less than a few seconds) are acceptable, anything over 1500*, you should be out of the throttle.

ive seen 180, but never to much higher then that......but have yet to tow with gauges....

For transmission temp, keep it under 200*.
