Installed the Airaid Filter/Rescue mission

I went installed the 6.0 replacement filter Airaid sells for the 6.0. I got out on the highway at dusk and went for a 3 mile run, listening for anything unusual. The turbo loves the new filter. I went down to a store and turned around. The roads were wet so I made sure I was strait and I gunned it. She took off like a scalded dog!

As I was heading home, I saw lights in the ditch, so I turned around and a man in an old Dakota had slipped off the road. I made sure he was OK and said I would go to the house and get a rope and come get him out. I went in the shed and got my army issue rappelling rope. I put it in 4 hi on the way there to lock the hubs in place. I pulled ahead of where he was in the ditch, and in the dark tied up the doubled rope on my hitch and tied off to his truck. I put it in 3 and gave it the gas and pulled him right out. My rope did not snap, but was cut clean by a moving part when we got it up on the rope. I tell you that surplus green rope can pull a tank if you double it up enough.
