EX fuel mileage?

Just wanted to know what kind of MPG everyone's getting. My best is 13 and am looking to improve on it.

Not much to be honest. I just bought her 3 months ago. So far, I've unplugged the EGR while waiting to afford a delete and put an Edge Insight on her to watch her ECT and EOT deltas from more than 50 degrees apart. So... Yeah, more work to do.

Your ECT and EOT difference should not exceed 15 degrees, not 50. If you have a 50* difference, you better park it and change the oil cooler before you rupture the EGR cooler and ruin your head gaskets. As far as the milage goes, I get 13/14 city and just got 19.6 hand calculated on a 1600 mile trip at 70+ mph. Do you have anything to read codes on your rig. That milage is low for a stock truck. You might have other issues going on.

Absolutely... I totally agree with you Heathrm. Putting a coolant filter on this weekend and then back to the dealership for a new oil cooler.

I love my Insight though. Without it, I'd just be driving around thinking everything was great. At least now, I can get her fixed before real trouble comes knocking.
