Thats an old pcm flash designed to help with injector stiction.

Get the truck to ford and get it updated to the new flash since the one on your truck has been known to wreck FICM's

Dave, thats the flash that wrecks the FICM's? If so i gotta tell me father in law to get his 04 reflashed, his does the same thing. Just remember that if you do an egr delete with the newest flash it can have issues.

so i took the ex to get the newest flash ($100) and it fix the buzzing sound when i turn it off but it didnt cure the hard star start in the morning...also i noticed this AM when i was waiting for the squiggly line to dissapear that the sound that is associated with it (buzzing) was different. with the old flash the glow plug buzzing would end when the light turned off and now it starts slow and gets faster and continues after the light has already turned off. oh yea, and the check engine light came back on.....

I'd say you have to check the codes checked, its like pissing in the wind if you try and tackle the 6.0 problems without the codes its kicking out. It will likely tell you where your problem lies
