cat delete

I have an '03 6.0 ex with stock exhaust and was looking for a cat delete or muffler delete until I can afford a whole system. Anyone have experience with which brands will fit?

Just buy a piece of stock pipe and a couple band clamps. A lot cheaper than a delete pipe, especially if you're going to replace the entire exhaust anyway.

I did that on my f-250 and dumped it before the back tire and it sounded great but I was looking at the delete pipes for a quick/easy install.

Won't be any quicker than the pipe and band clamps. No flaring or anything required and way cheaper.

Out here in Wyoming I would have to drive 100 miles to even get 3.5" pipe. That is why it would be easier to just order an aftermarket delete pipe.

So, back to my original question. Without calling a dealer (who is going to tell me it fits whether it does or not), has any of you (end consumers) installed any aftermarket cat delete pipes on your EX?
