What should my RPMs be at 70

i have a 2004 x 6.0 92xxx when im at 70 its about 2000 to 2100. Is that about right the truck computer still says 19.6 mpg but idk. My 05 f350 6.0 runs at 1800 at 70 so i thought that kinda seemed hi for the x.

Do you know what your rear end ratio is? You may have a towing package on your excursion which is like a 4.10 instead of a 3.73.

Your tire size will help too...

My 06 auto with 3.73 rear end and the small, stock, 265/75/17's I run about 2000rpm at 70.

Your 350 have larger tires on it by any chance?

my 07 turns 1900 @ 70 mph;

factory 18" wheels with 3.73 rearend

My 05 EX, 3.73 rear end, 325 65 18 tires - run 2000-2100 rpms at 70.
