305's to 285's

so here is my dilemma i had 305/70R16 good year wrangler mtr's and they made my truck look amazing, so many complements. only problem they are just terrible in the snow. so when i had to put tires on my truck i went with 285/75R16 dunlop rover m/t's witch are just as tall, only difference is they aren't as wide, so i though they would still look good, man was i wrong, i doesn't look terrible, but it just doesn't look the same, it is depressing. they are a lot better in the snow, but if anyone was thinking of down sizing there tires for better snow performance DON'T do it, it is not worth it.
