Location of cabin air filter?

I was wondering if someone would be able to point me in the general location of the cabin air filter, if the 2005 Ford Excursion was equipped with one - or where it is supposed to go if it is capable of having one added, but one not installed, as I've seen Ford do on some models.

Also, is the air intake for the ventilation system just under the cowl at the back of the hood? The reason I ask, is I'm getting a bit of a smell and might pump some of this anti-fungus stuff in it that I got from a friend at a Dodge dealership. (He says it's the old stuff that works, as opposed to the newer stuff that is more environmentally friendly but doesn't do as good a job. Plus, it's supposed to smell like orange Creamsicles!)

Thanks in advance!

Sorry. When I owned my last Excursion I thought that there was talk at the time of Ford offering a kit to add this to vehicles that did not have one. I had searched prior to my post, but only in the Excursion forum. I searched more after your comment and found that I was correct, but that the chances of finding this kit is now next to impossible since it is long out of production.
