many of us on here rely on the "dealership", its people, techs, resources, etc. at some point, you or someone you know will have a problem that only those with access to dealership tools or resources will be able to help you. it is neither funny or cute to use the term "stealership" on this site. i mean this post only to enlighten. it is not meant to be rude or mean.

You may have never been screwed over by a dealership, but there are many who has been. I've been severely taken for a ride a few times.

My wife's van has a power slide door, but a cable broke. I found out that it's going to cost me over $700 to repair. I told them that's BS for a simple system. That's robbery it's best. I call it as I see it, "stealership". I don't find it cute or funny either. You pay thourgh the nose to use these "resources" at the dealership. I call this "enlightenment" BS also.

$469 for a "plastic" grill is not only stupid, but it's robbery for a part that only cost $20 to $25 to make if that.

When a dealership charges from $90 to $100 per hour to "use" their resources. I don't "think" cute or funny is the term that I would want to use at this point. When you post what you said, don't be surprised responses like mine. I don't think GoFast was trying to be funny when he called them "stealerships"

The best place to get one is the classifieds section here. I've seen quite a few of them sell pretty reasonably since a lot of guys change to aftermarket grills. I had to replace mine last winter after an unfortunate collision with a tree when I was trying to push it out of the way during the ice storm. LOL I paid around $175 shipped for one brand new in the box from a forum member.
