no it deffinitely is not oem. i have no oem grill to compare it to. you can see that, i think, it was white plastic to begin with but was painted black. and it has grey plastic honeycomb inserts. it does not come with a grill emblem. another choice is this...

05 06 FORD SUPERDUTY F250 CHR GRILLE HEADLIGHT MOUNTING:eBay Motors (item 200348383279 end time Jul-31-09 12:03:19 PDT)

this is where i got my harley headlights from. you can get all kinds of packages from them. i mean, lots of guys have gotten the headlights like these and for the money out of your pocket, it sure is hard to beat this. hope this helps.

Maybe you should just buy the parts and try the repair on your own and then see if its worth the 700 bucks for the parts and labor if its just a simple repair.. I think its funny when people will complain about paying for a repair but for example if there a plumber and they charge a customer 60-80 bucks and hour sometimes more it ok.

The part cost is $595 for a simple motor and cable system. So by then it wouldn't have mattered.

I have seen them as high at $150/hr in some cities I have gone to.... you have to pay for stuff, nothing is free... the dealer pays for parts... they cant just turn around and seel for cost... how would they stay open? they have to pay their techs what the going rates are or the techs go somewhere else or dont eat... you use the term stealership because you are not looking at the whole picture... if you own a company are you going to do labor for free and parts at cost? how long would you have your doors open? Im sure youd get a ton of business but you wouldnt be going anywhere

I know how to buy the car, that's NOT what I'm talking about. Read it again. It's not always the labor that kills you it's the cost of the part. Come on, $469 for a plastic grill. But most business owners buy junk from China for pennies and turn it around for a huge price. It's people like these that are killing our economy.

Labor cost is well over $100 per hour here. So what's your point? I'm talking about the cost of the parts.
