8in lift ?s

Im thinking about getting a lift. i have heard that with an 8in lift the drivetrain is not long enough or that there may be problems using the stock one. any info would be great. ^ inches would be nice too but 8 inches stands out more in the croud

I've got a 10 in. lift with stock drivetrain parts. I think 10 is the max before you have to start changing things. So you should be good to go.

I think you need to go back to grammer school. If you do not have anything positive to say, then F-off.

What year truck?

03-04 and you'll need to have the front driveline lengthened.

05-07 front driveline will be fine as mentioned.

I'm sure you have done something to ur truck that us lifted guys think is dumb, like blending in and not personalizing your truck, so just relax and remember that its our hard earned money to spend on whatever we want to do to OUR trucks. I am sure there are other threads that you can talk about you stock tires and how you cant pull with a lifted truck......

I should add that on 03-04s how bad you need to lengthen the front will vary somewhat based on brand. For example....Icon shifts the front axle forward so it extends the stock shaft even more.
