also if anyone is to take of chrome covers that were previously installed dont use that gum 3 m tape remover wheel on your handles it will chew the hell out of it but here it is guys i painted my door handles black today and tomorrow ill tint the led 3 brake light and taillights and tint the windows

did you get any overspray on the truck?

since you didnt have painted handles isnt it all rough like the plastic ones are? did you sand it down at all smooth?

no i have a friend who is very ninja with a rattle can so no over spray thankfully and yes it did take some sanding but they are smooth and i figured if i messed up that bad i would buy the paint able ones lol but it turned out pretty good

they can be painted if you prep them right .. scuff with scotch brite pad then build it up with a high build primer.. then light scuff and paint .. I did mine in silver when I painted the truck a month or so ago they turned out great

this is correct i used scotch brite pad and jsut coated it with black then when i finished that i scotch brited it again then hit it with a clear coat few times and it turned out great

i like the look of the painted handles. on my white truck the black handles just stand out too much

i never said i painted my stock handles that are black, black.

i said they stand out (stock black handles) on my white truck.

and that i like the look of the painted handles. as in i want to paint mine white

I have my black grill painted white, Could I paint it chrome with the spray paint also?
