pocket style fender flares....couple q's

hey guys. i am going to put herculiner on the bottom of the truck and around the fender wells. i am going to be putting bushwacker fender flares on but i dont have them yet. so i need to know how far up the fender they go on the outside. just so i dont paint too far up the fender then find out the flare does not cover it!

I have them on my truck, but not sure exactly how high up they go.
I'll see if i can measure them

Just measured mine....the height varies around the flare. I would not paint any higher up than 6" all around.
