diesel only!!!

hey guys where do you find a freakin green diesel fuel cap?! i want one to prevent someone from putting gas in my truck. ive heard the horror stories and know some people it happened to. i have a locking gas door but want a green fuel cap preferably a stock looking plastic one. like the stock black one but green. would the dealer have em or would i need to go somewhere special? the dmaxes at work have em but i cant find any for the fords. what gives?

I dont know if they are the same. My 03 dmax would only fit the small pumps, not the big rig, high flow pumps. They might be different now though. That was 6 years ago.

just put a lockin cap on it and keep the key, if someone else fills it up, dont let them forget its diesel

Even if you get a green cap you may still have to explain to fill it up with diesel, some people don't know that a green cap means diesel only. If someone drives your truck just explain to them that if they fill it up with unleaded that they would then be responsible for any and all damages that result, they'll remember.

yeah the green cap will not make it apparent to someone who is already gettin ready to put gasoline in it i have seen they make a insert that wont allow a gasoline handle in just cant go to to a store with the tiny handles for diesel
