2004 front stab bar bushings

I've searched the forum and found a few posts mentioning steering problems but none for my specific question. 2004 F250 4x4 crew, I'm not having any steering problems but I was fixing a leak the other day and noticed the left bushing on the front stab bar is almost gone compared to the right side. I called the dealer and they only sell the complete assembly, about $150 for the pair. Is there any problem just buying the bushings from a hardware store and replacing them. I don't see any other wear on the stab bar.

The factory bushings aren't just pressed in. They have updated the part because this is a common problem. I would save yourself the headache and buy the new ones.
