Light between bed and rear bumper

I was behind a F350 dually today and they had a brake light between the bumper and bed. It looked factory, is there any way to add this to a SRW truck?

Was it like a bar, that was under the tailgate?
If so then its aftermarket, theyre easy to install, and look good most of the time.
I think Recon makes them.

my dad and brother refer to them as DOT lights. They both work for a large dump truck company. Check these out: Trailer Parts Superstore - 3-Light Rear Identification Bars
