Got my 08 tailgate today!!

Driving down the road and found a truck body place and stopped by. They have alot of 99-08 truck bodys, tailgate, etc... they swapped my stock 06 tailgate for a brand new 08 and 200 bucks!! i thought it was a good deal. Might go back and get a rear bumper and tail lights we will see, but here is my question.. are the colors the same? I have a white 06 and the 08 looks close but are they the same? ill get pics up tomorrow.

Where do I sign up for that deal. That gate would look great with my new front end. Gratz on getting a good deal. I'd say white is white.

O, even threw in the in 08 tailgate mount that you need to make it fit....

02 red same as 08 red i just swapped beds. You can go to RM paint website or probably dupont and look at the colors available for 08 and see if the codes match your year model.

I'm assuming that was in Georgia? Does it have the step?

yea in Georgia, and no step. its a place that takes the standard trucks and puts work bodies on them like flat beds and tool box sides. they are mostly white. it didnt matter to me about the step. I really wouldnt of used it. Ill go tomorrow and see what they can do on a cash price and might start trying to move some.... ill let yall know!!!!

I'd probably settle for one without the step but it would sure be nice since I work in construction and am in and out of my bed 100 times a day.

please do post up the location on this, my 00 needs a new gate and my wife is getting raedy to go to georgia on vacation....it'd be sweet to get a new tailgate up there too...truck needs paint anyway so color is no issue...please post info if you can!
