Starting my exterior Mods!! Yeah!

So I've been stockpiling new exterior parts for my truck. So far I have a new Black grille, 4 Hella Rallye 4000's, Light Bar (made to attach to my prerunner bar), a Black Billet Locking Gas door, Black Billet antenna, Chrome Wheels, and a SkyJacker 2.5" leveling kit (new springs).

My truck is at the dealer right now having the leveling kit installed. This weekend I'm hoping to get grille and lights put on along with the gas door. I also have a call in for new tires.

Here's where I need your help! I've narrowed my tire search down to either 325x65x18's or 325x60x18's. Originally I was told that my factory tires measured 33" tall, but I just measured them and they are only 31" tall. I'm a little hesitant to go all the way up to 35" because I work on the road and put a lot of miles on my truck (don't want the fuel mileage to get too bad). What are your suggestions? Go with 33"s or 35"s?

I have some pictures I took this morning of my truck in it's stock form, but I don't have time to upload them right now (supposed to be working). I'll upload them tonight before you guys get too upset with me.

I thank everyone in advance for their suggestions!

This forum is great and I've learned a lot. Keep up the good work!

Adam

Update. Had the lift installed at the dealership. Cost was $212 with alignment which I thought was fair. First impressions - the ride is excellent! Better than stock. And I don't hit the bump stops now when I hit a big hole. Smooth ride also! Pictures should be uploaded tonight.

Can't wait to see the picks and yeah that seems like a fair price on the levelin kit. What kind of fuel door did you get?

Here's the fuel door I got. Doesn't look very easy to install though. I'll post when I get it installed.

Wasn't it difficult to get to the two all-thread screws that you tighten from the inside of the fender?

I got this locking fuel door because I was concerned about someone vandalizing my truck by putting stuff in my gas tank. I saw this and thought, wow, what a great idea. After I got it I realized I could have just gotten a locking gas cap.

Stock pictures as promised. I tried to take pictures after I picked the truck up but it was snowing too hard to get a good shot. I'll try again tomorrow. I'll go to the same gas station so I can get roughly the same shots so you can compare before and after.

Stock:

My Prerunner bar will look much better once I get the lights installed.

I'm still hoping someone will come by with a suggestion or recommendation about which tire size to go with. I want to get them ordered tomorrow.

I really have no idea. It came with generic instructions and no packaging. Maybe Raul will know. I bought mine on eBay - I know I should have called Raul though. My bad. I'm just so used to buying from eBay. Sorry Raul.
