Faded top pad above chrome bumper

Hey guys I am looking for some suggestions, I have a blue 2006 F250 Lariat with chrome wheels/bumper/grille. I think the chrome grille in Florida cooks the previously blue top pad of my bumper. I was thinking about plastidipping all the blue and chrome bumper leaving the chrome grille. The other idea I had was to black out the grille and the pad and leave chrome bumper. Does anyone have any suggestions/alternative methods? Pictures/Photoshops would also be welcome and appreciated....

After more research and conversation, with no input. I found out it is called the front valence.... I decided against painting it myself... found another thread of someone who painted it the bottom color of his two tone scheme and talked to a body shop. They want $200 to sand/prime/paint the valance either blue like original or the bottom color of my paint. I think I am going to go with the bottom color as I feel like it will break up the colors and look pretty slick.....
