2014 bed on 2005 problem

I just put a 2014 bed on my 2005. Everything went good but now my fuel filler neck is to short to bolt back to the bed side. Anybody run into this yet? If so what did you do to fix it?

Thanks
Ed

If I can remember correctly, I cut the a piece of the metal neck off and inserted it into the middle section of the flexible rubber section. I was goin to buy a longer pipe but didn't need one. I'll snap pics in the morning for ya.

Can you post pics of the truck with that bed on it?

I was wondering what model year bed will work with my 2005.
How noticeable is the different wheel flare from front to back?

The rear wheel well doesn't look that bad. Any bed up to current will work.
