Exclamation 08 Tail Lights conversion

Hi Im doing to do a Rear 2008-2014 Tail lights conversion but I heard I gotta change one of the sockets

Does anyone know if this will work even tho It says 08 and up or how good will those from NAPA or Autozone work ?

I think it's the socket for the reverse lights. I remember needing to splice one set if wires an I believe it was when I had to install the 08+ socket on there. At that point I also added a wire for aux reverse lights.

I would double check though as I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah you have to change out the reverse light.

You can also buy the socket from autozone or pepboys or whatever auto parts store you prefer.

You would need parts 5 and 6 from the diagram. I tried to post a link but I don't know how from my phone. You would need 2 number 5s one for each side. There may be a cheaper route. I'm sure someone will chime in if there is a better way
