Anyone Welded a Custom Bumper? Guide??

Has anyone fabricated their own bumper? Front or rear? Costs? Thinking about having my brother weld one for me just need to give him some direction. Thanks.

If I were to fabricate a bumper I would go with a fab fours design and throw a lightbar space in the middle and some fog lights on the corners. Start with mocking it up with cardboard and then you can use it as a template for the metal stock. Might be able to do one side and then flip it to do the other.
