Get more lift?

I recently bought a 2006 F250, it has a 4" suspension lift on it but I want 8 out of it to run 38s from my old truck.

My friend mentioned something about swapping in radius arms, springs and a block for the rear to achieve the 8" lift without having to buy the whole kit. Is this true?

Thanks.

you would need the correct pitman arm, sway bar links, 4 link kit or radius arm bkts, trac bar bkt., shocks, and rear leaf or block. also the brake lines or brackets to make urs work.
